The Congress party on Friday unveiled its second list of 16 candidates for the upcoming elections to the Autonomous District Councils (ADCs) in the Khasi and Jaintia Hills region, set to take place on February 21.
The list includes 11 candidates for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and 5 for the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC).
The KHADC candidates are:

3.Lamborsing Nongrum – Nongkrem
4.Rilang Nongkhlaw – Langkyrdem Laitkroh
5.Monarch Shabong – Nongshken
6.Batskhem Marbaniang – Mawsynram
7.B Vitus Rymmai – Sohra
8.George Sun – Mawphlang Diengiei
9.G Ningstar Marthong – Nongstoin
10.Kodang Rashir – Mawshynrut
11.Pherdonnam Rngaid – Langrin
The JHADC candidates are:
1.Bitos Sari – Mukhla Ummulong
2.Katbanbiang Lamare – Nartiang
3.Richard Singh Lyngdoh – Mynso Nongjngi
4.Aron Pasweth – Jowai South
5.Lalwilliam Thiaite – Saipung Nongkhlieh
With this announcement, Congress has now revealed a total of 42 candidates, with 26 contesting from the KHADC and 16 from the JHADC.
