Deputy Chief Minister and NPP General Secretary, Bah Sniawbhalang Dhar, has strongly refuted allegations made by MPCC President, Bah Vincent H Pala, accusing him of being a spokesperson for the RSS and BJP. Bah Sniawbhalang clarified that as a general secretary of the NPP, he collaborates with the BJP for the state’s development but does not serve as their spokesperson.
Expressing his surprise, Bah Sniawbhalang remarked that while he respects Bah Pala, he was disappointed by the baseless and unpleasing remarks made by him. He emphasized his family’s long-standing involvement in the road construction business and criticized the baseless accusations related to corruption and illegal drugs.
Additionally, Bah Sniawbhalang criticized Bah Pala’s leadership of the MPCC, pointing out that numerous MLAs and MDCs have left the Congress under his tenure. He mentioned that after Bah Pala took over as MPCC President, 12 Congress MLAs defected to other parties, with many joining the NPP. He questioned Bah Pala’s ability to manage his party and criticized the Congress for making baseless accusations against the NPP. Bah Sniawbhalang urged Bah Pala to provide evidence for his claims of corruption instead of making unfounded statements.
