Prem Kumar, Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, is on an official study tour in Meghalaya as part of a parliamentary exchange and learning programme. He arrived in Shillong on May 26th and will remain in the state till May 29th.
During the visit, Dr. Kumar will study legislative and parliamentary activities in Shillong and Sohra, besides visiting sites of historical and cultural significance. He is accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Prabhawati Devi, along with officials and security personnel from the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
The visit is aimed at strengthening inter-legislative cooperation and promoting the exchange of best practices in parliamentary governance between states.
